Both are really great choices for new or expert player alike. Get any of them. Allosaurus is very common in one of the local zones. Velociraptor is everywhere at night time. It really doesn't matter.
Allosaurus - Perfect partner for all the previous weeks they've given us Sinoceratops as well as this madness that is alliance missions giving us 500 Sino DNA. You know you are making this dino. Here you go, pretty much free allosaur DNA. Remember, all the strikes that are valentine's themed this week will give you plenty of DNA for both of these by the thousands.
Allosaur is great for the noobs who are making their first legendary and are tired of facing off against ankylocodon, tragodistis , stegodeus.
Velociraptor - Need I say more. Alone it is the fastest dino in the game. Noobs can continue to use velociraptor all the way to level 20 and find success with it. Both of these dinos are really good for noobs! They are both great and easy choices for a first legendary.
Velociraptor wins this slot though. T-rex is being given out every day for completing your missions. It is easier than ever to evolve and fuse Indominus Rex and Indoraptor. Players never have enough raptor DNA for powering those up. Raptor is a good DNA you can trade within the alliance. Get raptor.
Rares
Utahraptor
This is a global dinosaur. It fuses into hot stuff Spinotasuchus or nerfed boy Utarinex from Utasinoraptor. It really depends what route of fusing you are taking. If you are making Spinotasuchus/Spinotahraptor, you need to leave Utahraptor at level 10.
If you are going for the nerfed boy, you need this at level 15. At this route and if you are a noob, this is a great dino to level up to 15 and keep using it on your team when you have dinos about levels 10-15.
Nobody really trades Utahraptor in alliances but the same goes for all of these rares.

Postosuchus
After certain updates recently this thing became really rare even in the zone it is supposed to be found in. Really hot trade bait dino. It only makes Postimetrodon/Tryostronix and that thing doesn't make any unique but the legendary is extremely popular for hitting hard and having immunity.
Postosuchus by itself is a really strong creature. It is not only fast but it has one of the highest damage outputs in the game for the first turn it is out. Noobs can use this a little bit but do not level this up past level 10, ever. If you want to be original and use it for its huge attack power it has - dont. There are other ways to do that and Postosuchus DNA is too rare to play around. You're going to over level this thing and show off and only end up getting draco'rect.

Spinosaurus
I live in zone 4. These things are really common that I don't even walk down the street a little bit to go get them. If i wait just a little while, one of them is going to spawn right in front of me. People from other zones really want this thing. I have noticed that I have an unbalance by having so much DNA of this thing and really not enough DNA of the partner it fuses with - Kaprosuchus. That is another annoying thing about spinosaur, it only has one line it fuses into. The legendary is on almost everyone's teams in the top players rankings. Get this only if you don't live in zone 4. This is the worst option of the rares you can get this week. In fact, dont even get it at all. You are going to get some for free as a dud pull from the free rare and epic incubators this week.
Dimetrodon
Zone 1 rare but not useless at all. I advise not fusing this at level 10 or 15, whatever it is. You have to dream big and make his level 20 for the Magnapyritor. That thing received a huge HP buff in this update and with Immune being inherited from little Dimetrodon it is really hard to take out and your opponent might even forget they cannot bleed it. Get Dimetrodon.
Kaprosuchus
Scientists don't even know what this thing is really supposed to look like. Only the skull was found.
This is a really good creature for noobs 10-15. Sure the swap in power is not as good as dracorex but no one ever expects this. Really. Besides that, this thing doesnt just die after it is stuck out in play. Oh no. You're going to be doing plenty critical hits and have decent enough speed and cleansing!
Fuse this thing into one of the best dinos Spinotasuchus. Don't waste DNA on making gorgosuchus come on. Just find gorgosuchus in the wild or they give it out for free sometimes. Don't over level up gorgosuchus.... that thing really isn't even fast or hits hard. What you really wish you had was Indoraptor.
The winner of the rares is Dimetrodon. It is going to take forever to make a rare into level 20 and no one is going to help you. Right now no one even wants their Irritator DNA because the legendary got nerfed either so stock up from the alliance and after a while you will have that Magnapyritor everyone wishes they had. I said good things about spinotasuchus but you really don't need a high level one. They're about the same they wound something and then get slowed down by thagomizer and cant even go for a second hit. The times that your opponent doesnt start with a tank then yeah you can hit once more but the wound is going to take them out anyways. it doesnt really matter that you do a few extra damage or a critical. Swoop also still does the same damage at any level. Your speed wont change. The funny thing is when you mirror match, your opponent has to swoop first and if you also use swoop, none of yours will be wounded but theirs will.
Postosuchus may be extremely rare but you can just skip him and his fusion entirely and just get Tryostronix from the legendaries available this week.

Baryonix
No. This is global and annoying when you use a scent to try to get something from a particular zone you will get Baryonix. Skip this. If that was not enough reason to skip this come on you can just directly get the legendary this week.
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Hail to the king. Everyone needs this DNA. It is being given out daily though. If it lasts as long as Alanqa did then there is no point to get some right now.
You might end up getting some of this as a dud in the epic incubator this week. Whoever is impatient can get a few T-rex in the green boxes.
Sinoceratops
We just got 500 Sino from the glitched mess. We just had it for several of the featured creatures weeks. It is back again. Sino DNA is never enough. Grab as much Sino DNA as you can. Everyone knows this is going to be making their first legendary and first unique.
The winner - Sino. It makes two different lines. Fusing always trolls and gives you 10s. You are going to need a lot of Sino.

5 attempts on legendaries that is ridiculous and an amazing chance to really strengthen your team.
Where to start...
Utahsinoraptor
It is a quick fix to a noob's team. It is not realistic to make the unique for this. Dracorex is too rare and no one is going to give you any.
Allosino
If you are thinking about making Thor then you have to grab this Allosino DNA. It skips most of the 10 10 10 fuses from Sino and now all you will need is Tarbosaurus. Allosaur is not that easy to make for noobs. Right now you all got lucky that Sino has been given recently. That DNA will not be enough. You will need Allosino DNA directly too. Imagine barely having a level 16 legendary and then with all this easy DNA and singular focus on Allo, Sino, Allosino lol you might be able to make a level 21 while all the rest of your team is weak. Do it!
Tryostronix
It is pretty fast and dodges annoying effects. Enemy Stegodeus and Tragodistis are going to just die if they dont switch out. Something is going to die when Tryostronix is out. This thing is even strong enough to take down 2 enemies before it falls. I would love to say that about Allosino or Indominus Rex but they really dont do that with speeds under 116. If you don't need help making the Sino fusions then get Tryostronix. You would be skipping so much trouble of hunting Postosuchus and Baryonix if you just focus here.
Spinotasuchus
This is usually everyone's favorite lead. With dracorex being nerfed and things suddenly getting fusions one day you are going to regret over leveling this thing. Gamble here if you want to. If you really think this is worth leveling up past level 20 or if you are going to wait for it to get a unique.

Indominus Rex
Here we go again with never having enough raptor DNA. If you are desperate for getting Indoraptor, you should dart 1 or 2 of these. You should already have at least 1/3 Indoraptor meter full from previous events. Even if you have excess Indominus DNA we did just get Erlikosaur and you can save it for fusing the dream.
Ok this one is tough . We want them all. There is a chance you can get 2 legendaries out of this if you are a noob and really good at shooting darts.
The winner is Tryostronix. Allosino is a close second but being that Sino is the definitive winner from the EPICS and we have plenty of it already, you should have enough with that. Sino also requires you to get Tarbo which is not an event right now. Tryostronix here is simple you don't need any other DNA to make any unique since it doesnt make one. Tryo doesn't interfere with other dino lines you are trying to make. It still leaves you room for leveling Dimetrodon to level 20.

What to request for this week in your alliance:
Tarbosaurus because it is absent on a week where all of its fusion partners are featured.
Tenontosaurus because it is still early and people haven't realized there is a Tenontorex event going on right now. Get this while you can. Some people still think the Dilo gen 2 appearances are a zone change.
T-rex gen 2. With so much dilo right now, you know you didn't grab enough trex gen2 while you had the chance. 200 for each rare fusion costs a lot. Get some help from the alliance.
